About The Position

FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Ochiltree County, Texas, and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to earn supplemental or full-time income on a flexible schedule. The opportunity involves performing residential occupancy verifications, which are brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions. Contractors will manage their own routing, schedule, and territory. Standard inspections are designed for speed, typically requiring only 5–6 minutes on-site, with stable, month-to-month volume in the assigned county. This role requires spending extended periods driving and making numerous stops throughout the day in a spacious rural county with longer drives between stops. A fuel-efficient vehicle and comfort with country roads are especially valuable.

Requirements

Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.

Computer with an internet connection and a printer.
Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
