Residential Nurse Nights - Kennesaw
About The Position
Seeking a dedicated RN to work FT night shift at a residential adolescent group home program in Kennesaw, GA. This role involves five 8-hour shifts and every other weekend. The starting pay is $35/RN, with additional compensation based on years of nursing experience. A shift differential of an additional $3/hr is provided for nights and weekends. As an RN/LPN, you will provide direct care nursing, administer medications, perform medical treatments, complete admissions, and actively engage with the youth served and their families/guardians. Devereux Georgia provides intensive residential treatment in a secure setting for youth, ages 10 to 21, who are facing significant emotional, behavioral, and intellectual/developmental challenges. The campus offers various amenities for outdoor activities.
Requirements
- Completion of RN program and current Georgia Nursing License required.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
- Overnight availability, 6:30p-7am, every other weekend (Sat/Sunday) availability and holidays required.
- Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class located in Kennesaw, GA; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
Nice To Haves
- Six months to one (1) year of Nursing experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.
