Requirements
- Valid and current Master Electrician License required
- Minimum of 5 years of residential electrical experience
- Valid Drivers License
- Strong understanding of applicable electrical codes, regulations, and permitting requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Clean driving record and professional appearance
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems.
- Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, upgrades, and panel installations.
- Ensure all electrical work is completed safely, professionally, and in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Serve as a knowledgeable electrical resource for customers, technicians, and management.
- Educate customers on electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Accurately bid, sell, and negotiate residential electrical jobs.
- Read and interpret electrical plans and wiring schematics.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch, managers, customers, and installation teams.
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company vehicle.
- Keep inventory up to date and communicate equipment or material needs.
- Maintain a professional appearance and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable electrical codes.
