About The Position

Established in 1970, Boley Centers, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization serving individuals with mental disabilities, individuals and families who are homeless, Veterans and youth in Pinellas County. Boley Centers, Inc., a nationally recognized and accredited behavioral health care agency, has an opening for a full-time Residential Manager whose responsibility will be to provide comprehensive services within a residential treatment setting. The Residential Manager supervises the delivery of services, documentation, maintenance of facilities, compliance with licensing and certification requirements and service delivery quality to ensure the safe, efficient and effective operations of assigned residential facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field. No substitution permitted. Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience required.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in human services with some experience working with mentally ill adults preferred.
  • Valid Florida driver's license, own transportation and vehicle insurance required.
  • Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities of team members to ensure recovery principles are effectively implemented and develop responsive services for consumers, ensuring consumer needs and priorities are met.
  • Work with team members to assess the needs of each consumer and develop meaningful and individualized recovery goals.
  • Monitor assigned facilities to determine adequacy of services provided to residents and take and/or recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Frequently inspect assigned facilities to ensure they are maintained in good repair and meet CARF requirements. Coordinate facility maintenance and repairs and implement corrective actions in response to inspections by AHCA, DCF, CARF, etc.
  • Attend meetings and activities regarding CSP reviews, residential screenings, staff and/or management related issues, training, quality improvement, utilization review, etc.
  • Manage the movement of residents into and out of assigned facilities ensuring accurate census data are maintained and ensure movement is coordinated and reported accurately related to intake, transfer, discharge and other movements of consumers.
  • Document individual and team activities, to include services and program outcomes, and prepare reports as required.
  • Monitor program budget and approve use of support funds.
  • Coordinate access of community resources through training, counseling and assistance and monitor the quality and timeliness of consumer treatment plans and ensure compliance with FAC 65-E15, Medicaid, CARF and other requirements.
  • Provide staff recommendations, monitor training and evaluate the job performance of assigned staff.
