About The Position

Catholic Charities of Long Island is seeking a dedicated and talented Residential Manager with a passion for helping developmentally disabled adults achieve their goals and live a full life. The position is located in their Babylon, LI group home. Requirements

BA/BS plus 2 years’ or HSD/GED plus 3-5 years’ management or staff supervisory experience in a group home for developmentally disabled adults
Clean, valid NYS Driver’s License
Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule according to resident care needs
Ability to perform tasks that may require stooping, crouching, and 2-person lifting up to 250 pounds
Ability to maintain personal safety and respond appropriately in a calm, non-confrontational manner during an individual's physical or emotional outburst

Responsibilities

Ensure quality of resident care is provided, 24 hrs./day, 7 days/week
Develop and implement Individualized Service Plans
Manage staff scheduling, training, performance management and regulatory compliance
Overseeing optimal household maintenance and adherence to budgets
