About The Position

The Residential Manager II is a senior-level leadership role responsible for the oversight of one or more residential programs or a larger, more complex residential facility. This position ensures the effective delivery of person-centered care, compliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with the organization’s mission and goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in residential, behavioral health, or developmental disability services
  • Minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory or program management role
  • Experience managing staff teams, supporting individuals with complex behavioral or medical needs, and maintaining regulatory compliance is required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in human services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field strongly preferred
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CNA, CPR/First Aid, CPI) preferred
  • Experience overseeing multiple sites or programs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations for one or more residential programs, ensuring consistent adherence to agency policies, safety protocols, and licensing/regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor program performance, staffing, and service delivery to ensure quality outcomes and consumer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor Residential Supervisors and/or direct care staff; provide coaching, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all program documentation, including incident reports, progress notes, medication logs, audits, and regulatory submissions.
  • Monitor compliance with state licensing, Medicaid waiver standards, agency policies, and safety regulations.
  • Facilitate communication between residents, families, and staff to address concerns and enhance resident satisfaction.
  • Implement and oversee programs and activities that promote resident engagement and well-being.
  • Lead internal audits, prepare for licensing inspections, and implement corrective action plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and facility operations.
