About The Position

AHRC New York City is seeking a Residential Manager (RM) for their Manhattan Group Home residence. This position assumes overall responsibilities for the smooth operation of the residence, ensuring ongoing compliance and quality assurance with State and Federal regulations. The RM will provide direct supervision of direct support staff, collaborate with the management team to create service programs for each resident, assign tasks to the direct support team, and participate in comprehensive service planning activities with outside agencies for each resident.

Requirements

Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) Required.
Knowledge of OPWDD regulations Required.
Valid NYS or Tri- state driver's license for more than one year is Required.
Must be willing to work flexible schedule including one day of each weekend.
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a supervisor in a residential setting Preferred.
Bachelors Preferred.

Responsibilities
