About The Position
The B. F. Saul Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Park Van Ness property. This role involves assisting the Lead Engineer in maintaining the property, responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, unit inspections, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and painting, and handling apartment turnovers and renovations. The community operates 24/7, and weekend or overnight work may be required. Attendance is essential for this position.
Requirements
- Three to five (3-5) years of engineering experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to lift (60 lbs.) and safely move appliances.
- Comfortable working with heights up to 25 feet.

- Experience in multifamily or hospitality environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Engineer in maintaining the property.
- Process all resident service requests in a timely manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance duties and unit inspections.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
- Perform apartment turnovers and renovations.
