Residential Lead HVAC Installer
About The Position
One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning and Service Minds are seeking an experienced residential HVAC Installer to install HVAC equipment safely, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company standards, and applicable codes. The role involves working in residential homes, completing installations and replacements, resolving installation-related issues, and ensuring systems operate correctly before the job is complete. Installers are expected to protect customers’ homes, maintain clean and safe jobsites, communicate professionally with homeowners, explain basic system operation, and provide an exceptional customer experience. The role also requires collaboration with other installation and service team members, accurate documentation in ServiceTitan, and care of company vehicles, tools, and equipment. The company offers full-time, year-round work, consistent scheduling, earning potential of $85,000–$100,000 or more annually, benefits, training, and opportunities for professional development and advancement. Requirements
- At least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- Experience installing residential air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical installation skills.
- Knowledge of proper HVAC installation procedures and industry best practices.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, installation manuals, and technical specifications.
- Ability to troubleshoot installation-related issues and make sound decisions in the field.
- Attention to detail and commitment to completing work correctly the first time.
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality or safety.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Professionalism when working in customers’ homes.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an installation team.

Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, thermostats, and related equipment.
- Complete system replacements, equipment upgrades, and new installations.
- Remove and dispose of existing HVAC equipment when required.
- Follow manufacturer specifications, company standards, and applicable codes when completing installations.
- Connect and test systems and confirm they are operating correctly before completing jobs.
- Identify and troubleshoot installation-related issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and technical specifications.
- Work efficiently while maintaining safety and workmanship standards.
- Collaborate with Lead Installers, Install Helpers, Service Technicians, and other team members as needed.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process.
- Explain basic system operation and answer customer questions before leaving the home.
- Protect customers’ homes and property throughout installations.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites.
- Complete accurate job documentation using ServiceTitan.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Represent the One Hour brand with professionalism, honesty, integrity, and pride.
