About The Position

We are looking for a Per Diem Residential Instructor to join our team! As a Residential Instructor, you’ll work with youth with neurological and or psychological disabilities. Our clients range from clients who have experienced trauma and abuse, to clients who have non-verbal and behavioral disorders. You will work with clients conducting groups and recreational activities and helping them with their behavior plans. This is not a desk job. Our interactive work directly impacts the lives of our clients. Whether you are assisting a client with daily living activities, improving relationship skills, developing coping mechanisms or teaching a subject, you will become a needed, trusted role model in this team-oriented position.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Minimum of a High School Diploma.
An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 credits in Human Services OR Two years of residential experience OR A combination of Human Service college credits and experience working with children totaling 2 years OR Be a Parent of a child 7 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
