The Residential Instructor creates a nurturing, positive learning environment and develops strategies to help clients cope effectively with social, emotional, and physical situations of daily living, facilitating independent performance. This role involves implementing Individual Plans of Care, monitoring client progress, administering medication (once certified), assisting with medical appointments, participating in meal planning and preparation, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the house, properties, and vehicle. The position requires active work both inside and outside the home, including community outings, and necessitates professional conduct when interacting with clients, colleagues, families, and the community.
