Residential HVAC Technician (Up to $6K Sign-on)

The Residential HVAC Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems in customers’ homes. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically skilled, and able to deliver professional and trustworthy service.
Requirements
- 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong training will be considered).
- EPA 608 Certification required
- Strong technical knowledge of residential HVAC systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and service schematics
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage daily workload
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawlspaces, outdoors)
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including heat pumps, gas furnaces, air handlers, condensers, mini-splits, and thermostats
- Perform routine maintenance services such as tune-ups, inspections, and system performance checks
- Provide customers with clear explanations of issues, options, and recommendations
- Install replacement components, equipment, and accessories as needed
- Complete accurate service tickets, documentation, and recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory
- Follow company safety protocols and industry best practices
- Communicate effectively with homeowners, dispatch, and team members
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and standards
