About The Position
Grogg's HVAC is seeking a Service Technician to keep homes comfortable, solve problems, and be a hero to their customers. This role involves a variety of tasks, from restoring cooling during heatwaves to ensuring businesses stay warm. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, problem-solving, meeting people, and taking pride in their work.
Requirements
- HVAC experience preferred (but we're willing to train motivated individuals)
- EPA Certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift equipment and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform seasonal tune-ups and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot heating, cooling, and ventilation issues
- Explain recommendations and solutions to customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Deliver exceptional customer service with every visit
