About The Position

We are hiring an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our growing Greater Hartford team. If you hold an active Connecticut S-2 Unlimited Heating, Piping & Cooling Journeyperson License and are looking for strong earning potential, steady work, professional support, and an opportunity to advance, we want to talk with you. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled service technician who takes pride in troubleshooting, providing quality repairs, and creating a great experience for homeowners. We believe good technicians should be trusted to diagnose the problem, educate the homeowner, and recommend the right solution. This is not a high-pressure sales environment.

Requirements

• Active Connecticut S-2 Unlimited Heating, Piping & Cooling Journeyperson License
• EPA Section 608 certification
• Previous residential HVAC service experience
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience servicing heating and air-conditioning equipment
• Knowledge of heat pumps, controls, electrical systems, airflow, and refrigeration
• Ability to work independently in a residential service environment
• Strong customer communication skills
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Diagnose residential heating and cooling system problems
• Service and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system issues
• Perform refrigeration diagnostics and repairs
• Identify and correct airflow and comfort problems
• Diagnose thermostats, controls, and related components
• Complete preventive maintenance and system evaluations
• Explain findings and repair options clearly to homeowners
• Provide accurate documentation for completed service calls
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach in the field
