Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
EPA Certification
3+ years of HVAC installation experience
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Strong HVAC installation and troubleshooting knowledge
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Dependable, honest, and professional work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment

Responsibilities

Lead residential and light commercial HVAC installations from start to finish.
Work alongside an installation helper.
Make sound decisions on-site.
Ensure quality standards are met.
Represent Happy Home Services with professionalism and pride.
Install HVAC systems and related equipment according to Happy Home standards and manufacturer specifications.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Wire both line-voltage and low-voltage heating and cooling system components.
Install, braze, and solder copper refrigerant lines.
Install sheet metal ductwork and flexible duct systems.
Connect and install gas lines in compliance with applicable codes and safety requirements.
Pre-measure job sites and identify materials needed for successful installations.
Receive, inspect, and load equipment and materials for each project.
Collaborate with fellow installers and assist team members when needed.
Train, coach, and support installation helpers to build a high-performing team.
Build positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and management.
Complete job documentation accurately and on time.
Take and interpret system readings to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle.
