Residential HVAC Installer
About The Position
Ostrom is growing and expanding its residential heating and air conditioning department. They are looking for an experienced HVAC Installer who takes pride in clean, code-compliant installs and wants a place where that pride is recognized. Requirements
- Residential HVAC installation experience
- EPA 608 certification
- Mechanical skill and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and extreme heat and cold
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and ductwork, to code and manufacturer specifications
- Remove and haul away existing equipment
- Set equipment, run line sets, and make electrical, refrigerant, and duct connections
- Start up and test new systems to confirm proper operation
- Protect every customer's home and leave every job site spotless
- Walk customers through their new system before you leave
- Guide and mentor apprentice installers on the job
- Follow all safety policies, OSHA standards, and EPA guidelines
