About The Position

Install residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications and company standards. This role involves working in homes and job sites to deliver high-quality installations while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Must background screening
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable through company insurance carrier
  • Able to communicate clearly in English verbally and in writing
  • Ability to read installation manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Basic computer and mobile device proficiency
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
  • Attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Commitment to safety and proper procedures
  • Time management and dependability
  • Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Professional customer-service skills
  • Ability to work under deadlines and in varied conditions
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials up to 100 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak, and safely operate tools and vehicles

Nice To Haves

  • Residential HVAC installation experience preferred
  • EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and related components
  • Perform system change-outs, retrofits, and new construction installs
  • Set and connect equipment, ductwork, refrigeration lines, electrical wiring, and gas piping as applicable
  • Ensure installations meet code requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards
  • Test systems for proper operation, airflow, refrigerant charge, and safety
  • Complete start-ups and final walkthroughs with homeowners
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all job sites
  • Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials
  • Communicate with install team members, supervisors, and dispatch
  • Accurately complete job documentation using company software tools
  • Assist warehouse and service teams as needed
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned
