About The Position
Murrey’s Disposal is actively hiring a Residential Garbage Truck Driver with a valid Class A or B CDL to join our team in Fife, Washington. If you're a safety-focused driver with experience in waste collection or looking to start a stable career in the waste management industry, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- At least 2 years of relevant driving experience
- Basic knowledge of truck components for inspections
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a residential garbage truck on designated routes
- Read and follow route sheets or dispatcher instructions
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Load and unload waste materials—sometimes without assistance
- Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and dispose of refuse
- Provide courteous customer service and complete other duties as assigned
