About The Position

Waste Connections is seeking motivated, safety-focused individuals who are passionate about driving and looking to build a long-term career with a growing industry leader. We are currently hiring a Residential Garbage Truck Driver to join our team in New Port Richey, Florida. As a Residential Garbage Truck Driver, you will safely operate a garbage truck along designated routes while providing excellent service to our customers. This position requires physical activity, including heavy lifting and frequent entry and exit from the vehicle throughout the day.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience, preferably in a driving-related role
• Stable employment history
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Nice To Haves

• Previous garbage truck or waste industry experience is a plus
• Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a residential garbage truck on assigned routes
