As a Sales Inspector, you'll spend your days in the field meeting new people, inspecting properties, and helping customers protect their homes. You'll identify pest issues and conditions that may lead to future problems, clearly explain your findings, and offer customized service plans that meet each customer's needs. This role offers a combination of salary and commission and involves selling all phases of termite, pest control, wildlife, and insulation service contracts. In some cases, you may also complete services on-site the same day. This position combines technical knowledge with strong people skills and is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, working independently, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience (required)
  • Strong communication, active listening, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
  • Strong understanding of effective selling strategies and a proven record of sales success
  • High level of integrity, ethical standards, and technical knowledge of industry services
  • Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
  • Passion for helping others and delivering outstanding customer service
  • Ability to travel locally and work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
  • Physical ability to drive and walk for extended periods during inspections
  • Ability to work safely in crawl spaces and attics
  • Basic ladder skills for wasp nest removal and minor wildlife services
  • Ability to install bait stations and complete initial pest control services
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Flexible availability Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Industry licensure in accordance with state regulations (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and issue Wood Infestation Inspection Reports
  • Maintain a professional appearance and properly maintain all equipment
  • Collaborate with the service team to grow existing accounts and create new ones
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Identify pest issues and conditions that may lead to future problems
  • Clearly explain findings
  • Offer customized service plans that meet each customer's needs
  • Sell all phases of termite, pest control, wildlife, and insulation service contracts
  • Complete services on-site the same day (in some cases)
