We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Residential Energy Auditor! You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy-efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency (re)audits, pre, and post-installation verifications, and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Support Account Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits or new construction. Provides technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues and recommends solutions. Successful candidates will reside in the Denver Metro Area for frequent travel within the territory. Company vehicle provided.

Requirements

  • 0-1 year of relevant industry experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
  • Consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
  • Must pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment
  • Meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations (if applicable)
  • Authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support
  • Must pass pre-employment checks

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree preferred
  • BPI Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install energy-efficient equipment
  • Conduct energy efficiency (re)audits
  • Conduct pre, and post-installation verifications
  • Perform other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory
  • Support Account Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits or new construction
  • Provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues and recommends solutions
  • Record inspection results, customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff
  • Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers
  • Travel throughout a defined territory, which can include day and overnight trips
