About The Position

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Champaign, Illinois, is looking to hire mechanically inclined individuals with a strong work ethic to become skilled Residential Garage Door Installers or Technicians. This role requires the ability to safely lift 100 lbs. overhead and a valid driver's license. Previous experience in construction, general labor, service technician, installation, carpentry, mechanics, assembly, or any skilled trade is considered a valuable starting point, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Requirements

• Able to lift 100 pounds
• Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in construction, as a general laborer, service technician, installer, carpenter, mechanic, assembly worker, or any skilled trade is a good starting point!

Responsibilities

• Install /Service/Repair residential garage doors and door hardware
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
