About The Position

Residential Directors coordinate all service delivery. These functions include; coordinating with the Interdisciplinary Team, licensing, conducting internal audits, assuring service satisfaction, managing the organization's procedures for vulnerability and mandated reporting; and managing current and past individual records. Additionally responsible for overall program services, including: leadership, staff training & development, and maintaining compliance records. This position provides strategic direction to the programs and supervises the assigned Service Managers.

Requirements

Must be comfortable working with Challenging Behaviors!
Has at least 4 years of experience in a senior management position.
Is comfortable with independent decision making and problem solving.
Displays the qualities of the company’s core values including service excellence, you centered care, nurturing relationships, ownership, value in every voice, and authenticity.
Have three to five years of experience in a program that provides direct care or education to vulnerable adults or children.
Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, access to an reliable insured vehicle, and the ability to safely transport vulnerable individuals.
Be able to pass a DHS background study.
Have a proven history of developing staff and managers.
Working knowledge of 245D requirements and standards.
Exhibit proficiency in all Microsoft office applications to be successful in this position.
A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children; OR
An associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children; OR
A diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children; OR
A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; AND Four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in clauses (1) to (3).

Responsibilities

Oversees the daily workflow of the service delivery department.
Responsible for overall programming including leadership, staff training & development, finances & maintaining compliance records.
Visits each site at least once per month to stay informed of operations and provide support and guidance.
Audits timecards and schedules and ensures EVV is adhered to.
Implements internal auditing and reporting system.
Ensures overall service satisfaction, including investigating satisfaction problems and recommending solutions.
Coordinates internal investigations of reported incidents, files paperwork, reports conclusions and makes recommendations.
Manages individual records and assures the security and privacy of the records.
Ensures licensing requirements are adhered to.
Participates in group and team meetings, including Leadership Team meetings, as necessary.
