About The Position
Bay-CSS is looking for a committed Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Severn, MD. This role requires providing essential support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The position offers a competitive compensation of $21 per hour Monday through Friday, with a $2 shift differential on Saturday and Sunday. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Successful completion of a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directions, work well in a team, and adhere to a set schedule
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable individual
- Ability to attend all required trainings in the allotted timeframe

Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores
- Support individuals in pursuing personal goals and objectives
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain detailed documentation of resident progress and incidents
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures ensuring resident safety and well-being
- Work Tuesday through Saturday from 3pm to 11pm as scheduled
