About The Position

Hillcrest House, a program of Sanctuary House, is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join their residential team. The role involves making a meaningful impact in the lives of residents by providing a safe and supportive environment for adults living with serious mental illness. The position is part-time, specifically for the 2nd shift on weekdays and every other weekend, with a schedule that includes every other Saturday (3 pm – 10 pm), every other Sunday (8 am – 3 pm), and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (3 pm – 10 pm). The organization is a nonprofit community hub dedicated to promoting mental health recovery through connection, growth, and purpose, helping individuals gain the tools, confidence, and community connections needed to live meaningful, independent lives.

Requirements

Must be available to work overnight during the week.
A valid NC driver’s license with a clean driving record.
1 year of experience supporting adults with serious mental illness (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, schizoaffective disorder).
High school diploma or equivalent.
