About The Position

Viking Lakes Residences is seeking high-energy Residential Custodial Technicians to help maintain its luxury apartment community to a high standard of cleanliness and upkeep. The community includes four four-story apartment buildings, a clubhouse/leasing office, and outdoor amenity spaces. The role contributes directly to the resident experience by cleaning and inspecting shared spaces and vacant units, maintaining supplies, responding to resident requests, and reporting facility or security concerns. This is a part-time, weekend position.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in the cleaning or custodial field.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and OSHA regulations.
• Basic understanding of typical cleaning methods and best practices.
• Comfort and experience working with basic tools and equipment needed to complete duties.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to be on one's feet and mobile frequently, both inside and outside of buildings.

Nice To Haves

• Site lead or supervisory experience.
• Customer service and interaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean the community, including vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, washing windows, and removing waste.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior community inspections, including inspections of vacant units.
• Track upcoming apartment turnovers with internal staff.
• Restock chemical, liquid, and paper supplies in common areas, restrooms, and amenities.
• Maintain floors, furniture, and fixtures according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Respond to resident requests related to cleaning and general maintenance.
• Observe and report facility damage, security concerns, and other campus issues as necessary.
