Riverside Community Care is seeking a Residential Counselor to join their growing, stable, and highly regarded organization. This role offers valuable human services experience while making a difference in the lives of others. The organization provides person-centered supports for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, autism, or acquired brain injury, helping each person learn daily living skills, build meaningful relationships, and become a valued member of their community. As a Residential Counselor, you’ll be part of a supportive team that helps individuals maintain their physical and emotional health, foster relationships, develop independence, and participate in community activities. The role combines support, supervision, coaching, and companionship, with every interaction rooted in respect and appreciation for each individual’s uniqueness. You’ll encourage residents to identify their strengths, explore new opportunities, and actualize their hopes and dreams. Our residences are located in welcoming neighborhood settings, typically housing 3-5 people with private bedrooms and shared living spaces. Staff provide ongoing guidance and support, and employees are available 24/7 with staffing schedules tailored to meet the needs of the individuals served. Every shift offers the chance to build relationships, see progress, and be part of something meaningful.
