About The Position
CRJ is seeking compassionate and dependable Residential Counselors to join their growing team and support the individuals they serve. This is a full-time, 40-hours/week, non-exempt position located in Leominster, MA. The role is eligible for benefits and offers a starting rate of $18/hr. This position provides valuable training for career advancement and professional development opportunities within CRJ.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others
- Must pass required certifications in the allotted time set forth by the agency
- Must pass a criminal and driver's check
Responsibilities
- Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours, including to job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips.
- Support and teach clients new skills, focusing on specific goals outlined in their Individual Service Plan.
- Act as a positive role model for clients to help them achieve the highest quality of life while ensuring their safety in all settings.
- Administer medications and complete required documentation in a timely manner, including progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance records.
