About The Position
This Per Diem Residential Counselor position is located in an adult group home in Bayville, NJ. The role involves providing direct supervision to consumers, assisting them with daily living skills to increase independence, providing transportation, and facilitating recreational activities. Additionally, the Residential Counselor will provide case management services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related discipline OR
- A registered nurse with combination of one or more years of college plus education and experience equal to four years OR
- An LPN plus two years of related experience OR
- A high school diploma or the equivalent, plus four years of related work or life experience
- Valid Driver's License with less than 6 points
- Overnights required as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision to consumers residing in an adult group home
- Provide transportation, recreational activities, direction with daily living skills to increase independence
- Provide case management services
