About The Position
The Residential Counselor will provide supervision and support to residents in a group home setting. This role involves ensuring residents' well-being, assisting with daily living skills to promote independence, and providing case management services. The position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week, with flexibility for weekdays, weekends, and overnight shifts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related discipline OR A high school diploma or the equivalent, plus four years of related work or life experience.
- Valid Driver's License with less than 6 points.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and support to residents in group home
- Providing transportation
- Providing recreational activities
- Provide direction with daily living skills to increase independence
