About The Position

Merakey is seeking a PRN Residential Counselor to join their team at the Wister House program in Philadelphia. This role involves providing direction and assistance to residents in various aspects of daily living, including nutrition, housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self-care, home safety, transportation, social interaction, exercise, and health management. The counselor will also transport residents to appointments, implement parts of resident goal plans, and report resident progress to clinicians.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of Adult Behavior Health experience preferred in a group home or residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and assistance to consumers residing in CRR programs in areas but not limited to: nutrition, housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self - care, home safety, transportation, social interaction, exercise, helth management and vocational.
• Transport residents to necessary appointments when appropriate.
• Implement appropriate parts of each resident's goal plan as instructed by the treatment team or supervisor.
• Report the resident's progress or lack of progress to the appropriate clinician.
