About The Position
The Residential Counselor provides direct and indirect services to both individuals and groups of members served. This role is part of the Treehouse South program, a short-term crisis residential program in Orange County that collaborates with the Orange County Mental Health Department. The program assists members experiencing acute mental health crises, helping them stabilize their functioning without requiring inpatient admission. The program is staffed by a multidisciplinary team focused on stabilization and recovery.
Requirements
- High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent
- At least one (1) year of direct service experience in a mental health setting
- Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
