About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Residential Counselor - PT to join their team at their program in Philadelphia (Wister House). This role provides direction and assistance to consumers residing in CRR programs in areas such as nutrition, housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self-care, home safety, transportation, social interaction, exercise, and health management. The counselor will also implement parts of each resident's goal plan and report resident progress to the appropriate clinician.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of Adult Behavior Health experience preferred in a group home or residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and assistance to consumers residing in CRR programs in areas but not limited to: nutrition, housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self - care, home safety, transportation, social interaction, exercise, health management and vocational.
• Transport residents to necessary appointments when appropriate.
• Implement appropriate parts of each resident's goal plan as instructed by the treatment team or supervisor.
• Report the resident's progress or lack of progress to the appropriate clinician.
