About The Position
The Residential Counselor provides direct and indirect services to both individuals and groups of members served. This role is part of Telecare's crisis residential programs in Orange County, specifically at Treehouse South. Treehouse South is a short-term crisis residential program that collaborates with the Orange County Mental Health Department to assist members experiencing acute mental health crises. The program focuses on helping individuals stabilize their functioning without requiring admission to inpatient or higher levels of care. The program is staffed by a multidisciplinary team focused on stabilization and recovery.
Requirements
- High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent
- At least one (1) year of direct service experience in a mental health setting
- Valid and current driver’s license
- Personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct and indirect services to both individuals and groups of members served.
- Drives clients to appointments and groups using a company vehicle.
