About The Position

This role provides rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE), fostering skills for daily living and community integration.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED
Direct care experience preferred
Valid driver’s license
Ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.)
Strong communications skills (English)
Basic computer proficiency
Compassion, patience, and commitment to trauma-informed care
Willingness to complete employer-provided training and successfully obtain MAP certification within 3 months (if not currently certified)

Responsibilities

Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE), fostering skills for daily living and community integration.
Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills.
Implement Treatment Plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
Administer/supervise medications by MAP guidelines and document care.
Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.
