About The Position

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Residential Counselor to join their team. This role involves providing person-centered supports for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, autism, or acquired brain injury. The goal is to help each person learn daily living skills, build meaningful relationships, and become a valued member of their community. The Residential Counselor will be part of a supportive team that helps individuals maintain their physical and emotional health, foster relationships, develop independence, and participate in community activities. The role combines support, supervision, coaching, and companionship, with every interaction rooted in respect and appreciation for each individual’s uniqueness. Employees are available 24/7, with staffing schedules tailored to meet the needs of the individuals served. Every shift offers the chance to build relationships, see progress, and be part of something meaningful. Relief opportunities are available in the Andover area.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to assist in the lifting of an adult person.
