About The Position

Become a full-time Residential Counselor (Overnight) with the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center (DDRC) in the Lakewood, CO area and help empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live full, independent, and joyful lives. This onsite role is hands-on, deeply rewarding, and perfect for someone who enjoys building genuine connections and supporting others in a values-driven environment rooted in Dedication, Dignity, Respect, and Choice.
Schedule:
Friday - 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM
Saturday - 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM
Sunday - 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM
Compensation: $20.50 per hour

Requirements

• Empathetic and patient, with a genuine desire to support others
• An excellent communicator, able to build trusting relationships
• Detail-oriented, especially with documentation and medication administration
• Responsible and dependable, with strong time-management skills
• Calm under pressure, equipped to handle challenging situations with care
• Committed to safety, both in the home and in the community

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily living activities, including medication administration, hygiene assistance, and basic first aid
• Ensuring safety, including providing transportation to appointments and community activities
• Encouraging participation in work, recreation, and skill-building activities
• Preparing meals, maintaining a comfortable home environment, and supporting behavioral needs
• Using crisis intervention skills when needed and fostering stability and trust
• Completing documentation accurately and collaborating with your team to uphold our agency values
