About The Position
The Residential Counselor provides direct and indirect services to both individuals and groups of members served. Shifts Available: Short-Hour PM Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM | Days: Saturday & Sunday Short-Hour NOC Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Days: Friday - Saturday. Contra Costa Hope House serves adults aged 18-59 experiencing an acute mental health emergency. Adults aged 59 and older are admitted on a case by case basis. The average length of stay is 7-10 days.
Requirements
- High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent
- At least one (1) year of direct service experience in a mental health setting
- Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
- Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.
