Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills (English) and basic computer proficiency
  • Compassion, patience, and a commitment to trauma-informed care
  • MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification is required for this position. Candidates without current certification must be willing to complete employer-provided training and successfully obtain certification within 3 months

Nice To Haves

  • Mental health experience preferred
  • Lived experience or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese)

Responsibilities

  • Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE), fostering skills for daily living and community integration.
  • Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills.
  • Implement Treatment Plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
  • Administer/supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care.
  • Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
  • Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
  • Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.
