CUMBERLAND HEIGHTS is seeking a dedicated Residential Counselor to join their team. This role is crucial in transforming lives by providing high-quality care for individuals and families affected by chemical dependency. The program emphasizes a holistic approach, addressing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of recovery within a safe, loving, and healing environment, guided by professional excellence and the principles of the Twelve Steps. The Residential Counselor will provide services across eight domains of addiction counseling, including clinical evaluation, treatment planning, referral, service coordination, counseling (individual, family, and group), education, documentation, and professional/ethical responsibilities. This position operates within the Cumberland Heights Model of Care, tailored to each counselor's education, training, experience, credentials, and license. Counselors act as the primary liaison between patients/families and the treatment team, collaborating to create individualized, patient-centered care plans that foster long-term recovery. The role may function as a primary, float, or family counselor and reports to the Program Director.
