The Residential Counsellor will plan and implement individualized, goal-centered programs for adults with developmental disabilities within all Lawson Ministries Programs. The role aims to promote greater independence and the highest quality of living, foster a supportive and nurturing environment, and ensure the physical needs (food, clothing, shelter) of Service Users are met. This includes home cleaning, meal preparation coordination, and personal needs care. The Counsellor will also assist Service Users with their emotional and psychological needs and be involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Person-directed treatment/rehabilitation plans.
