The Residential Coordinator (R.C.) is a live-in, dorm-parent role responsible for supporting gap year students (ages 17–22) residing in on-site apartments. This position typically works approximately 40 hours per week, primarily evenings and weekends, and requires overnight presence whenever students are in residence. The R.C. serves as a mentor to students, supports the work of full-time program staff, and enforces disciplinary policies as needed. The R.C. manages the residential environment while living in a separate one-bedroom apartment and reports directly to the Assistant Program Director overseeing Residential Life. Compensation includes housing and utilities for the duration of the appointment, along with a bi-weekly paycheck reflecting an average 40-hour workweek. Students reside on campus in 8–10-week sessions, totaling approximately 30 weeks annually (September–May). Prior experience in college residential life is highly preferred. Additional program information is available at Dynamy.org. The Residential Coordinator provides leadership aligned with the mission of Dynamy and YOU, Inc., serving as an integral member of the Residential Life team. This role is responsible for fostering a supportive, respectful, and independent residential community. The R.C. oversees and implements operational, educational, counseling, and disciplinary components within the residence, promoting student development and a strong sense of community.
