About The Position

Woodfords Family Services has an exciting opening for a Residential Coordinator on our team in Biddeford, Maine. The Residential Coordinator will manage the daily operations of their designated residences. This oversight will ensure that consumers receive high-quality care, that direct care staff are adequately supervised and supported, and that the residence operates efficiently and effectively in accordance with agency, state, and federal standards. The Coordinator will work with adults to provide personalized care in their homes, focusing on active daily living skills, fostering independence, and addressing personal care needs. This includes adhering to individualized treatment plans and implementing positive support and behavior management strategies. Additionally, the Coordinator will ensure that adults have the necessary supports to fully engage with and benefit from their communities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification.
  • Certified Residential Medication Aide (CMRA) certification through the State of Maine.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Use of a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to meet consumer transportation needs in their local community and surrounding areas from their assigned work location.
  • Commitment to fulfilling all training requirements on or prior to due dates.
  • Minimum of two years (paid or volunteer) working with children/adults.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Experience with the special needs population.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the daily operations of designated residences.
  • Ensures consumers receive high-quality care.
  • Supervises and supports direct care staff.
  • Ensures residences operate efficiently and effectively in accordance with agency, state, and federal standards.
  • Works with adults to provide personalized care in their homes, focusing on active daily living skills, fostering independence, and addressing personal care needs.
  • Adheres to individualized treatment plans and implements positive support and behavior management strategies.
  • Ensures adults have the necessary supports to fully engage with and benefit from their communities.
  • Supervises and supports a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at the assigned residence.
  • Provides training, oversight, and approval for DSP documentation.
  • Participates in the screening, hiring, and onboarding processes for DSPs.
  • Organizes and oversees task workflows to meet the daily operational needs of the residence.
