Residential Construction Inspector (Contractor Role)
About The Position
NWM Risk Management partners with banks and lenders to monitor the progress of residential and commercial construction projects, ensuring that fund releases align with on-site progress. Local inspectors visit construction sites, document progress with photos using a mobile app, and submit them for reporting. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, part-time work, offering the ability to choose hours and earn extra income independently. NWM is rapidly expanding and actively recruiting across different regions, with a current focus on expansion in New Hampshire.
Requirements
- Flexible schedule: Inspections are assigned as needed, typically with 24–48 hours’ notice, with a turn time of approximately 48 hours.
- Reliable transportation: A vehicle is needed to travel to inspection sites.
- Device Requirement: Smartphone or tablet (iPhone or Android) compatible with the Pruvan app. Devices must be no older than 5 years.
- PPE gear: Closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a safety vest are required.
Nice To Haves
- Basic construction knowledge preferred: Familiarity with residential construction is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Visit residential construction sites (single-family homes, townhomes, apartments, condos).
- Take interior and exterior photos of all properties assigned directly through our smartphone app to provide a general overview of what has been completed on-site.
- Submit photos through the app to the report writing team.
- Communicate availability and scheduling needs promptly.
- Ensure inspections are completed within 24–48 hours of assignment.
- Perform photo documentation only; no report writing is required.
