The Residential Community Counselor supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in living meaningful, self-directed, and connected lives through person-centered support tailored to their strengths, preferences, goals, and support plans. Working in partnership with the Program Supervisor, Companion Provider/House Leader, and other team members, this role helps individuals develop skills, build relationships, access community opportunities, and achieve personal goals. The Residential Community Counselor provides support across home, work, and community settings, promoting independence, choice, and inclusion. Through everyday experiences, the role encourages personal growth, meaningful participation, and a sense of belonging within the home and broader community.
