About The Position

Crossroads Community, Inc. (CCI) is a nonprofit organization established in 1984, providing behavioral health rehabilitation services to residents across the five mid-shore counties on Maryland’s Eastern Shore since 1983. The organization's mission is to equip individuals with behavioral health needs with skills and resources to foster recovery and enable them to lead satisfying and productive lives. The Residential Coach position is a direct care role designed to support clients in achieving their personal goals and developing essential daily living skills, including self-administration of medications, self-care, wellness practices, and community involvement. This role is pivotal in helping clients build a 'tool box' of strategies to navigate the challenges associated with severe mental health diagnoses, ultimately supporting their journey towards recovery and successful living. CCI offers flexible scheduling, making it an ideal opportunity for current college students or recent graduates looking to gain experience and build a career in the Behavioral Health field.

Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent and the desire to help individuals with behavioral health needs
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record to support insurability by the agency’s insurance carrier
Work related use of a vehicle carrying minimum of 100/300/50 liability insurance
Pass the agency’s background check
