This weekend shift position (every other Saturday and Sunday) gives you the chance to provide hands-on support to women and families on their journey to recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Position Overview: SEFP is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Direct Care Associate to join our residential care team. You will provide supervision, guidance, and support to clients in a residential setting, assisting the Program Manager in maintaining a therapeutic environment, monitoring client progress, and supporting daily living and recovery activities. Who We Are Since 1971, the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders. SEFP is a licensed residential substance use disorder treatment program (3.5 & 3.1) serving non-pregnant women, pregnant women, recently postpartum women, and their infants. Our gender-specific program provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment, promoting recovery, stabilization, and overall well-being for clients and families.
