About The Position

The Apartment Cleaner will clean, sanitize, and maintain the property building interiors and communal areas they are assigned. Cleaner will NOT be responsible for cleaning occupied units, only common areas and property grounds.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.
• Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in residential/multi-family realty is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property, especially after a property undergoes maintenance work.
• Cleans and disinfects communal areas including entrances, hallways, windows, stairways, and laundry rooms.
• During the winter months, you may be required to throw ice-melt (salt) on sidewalks and around entry doors.
• Build relationships and maintain an elevated level of customer satisfaction with our tenants.
• Assist with processing service requests related to cleanliness and property upkeep from residents and coordinate work orders with the maintenance staff.
• Maintain the integrity of the community by ensuring confidentiality of resident and company information.
• Picks up and empties trash containers.
• Notifies maintenance if something is not working properly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
