About The Position
Our 15-bed co-ed Residential Care Facility (RCF) in Keosauqua provides a supportive, recovery-oriented home where adults living with serious and persistent mental illness are empowered to build on their strengths, increase their independence, and create meaningful lives. As an RCF Professional, you'll build genuine relationships, encourage growth, and celebrate progress one step at a time. The role involves connecting through relationships rooted in trust, compassion, and respect; engaging by encouraging growth, teaching new skills, and supporting each person's recovery journey; and empowering individuals to build confidence, resilience, and independence while creating meaningful lives.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to complete required training and maintain certifications
Nice To Haves
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, healthcare, or direct support
- CPR/First Aid certification
Responsibilities
- Supporting daily living and independent living skills
- Encouraging healthy coping strategies and emotional wellness
- Assisting with medication and appointment adherence
- Promoting healthy routines, nutrition, and community involvement
- Supporting goals identified in each person's Person-Centered Service Plan (PCSP)
- Documenting progress and providing trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care
