The Residential Care Associate I will provide caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients at The Beckett Center in Medford, Oregon. They will provide personal care services and support that helps individuals develop appropriate daily living skills and independent activities of daily living to increase or maintain their level of functioning. The Residential Care Associate I will assist with meal preparation, clean-up, and food purchasing, while encouraging client participation. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, they will pass medications and perform delegated medical care as prescribed by the client’s primary care provider. They will transport clients to and from the program as necessary to engage and provide treatment services. They will maintain compliance with established productivity standards for documentation of services. This position falls under the AFSCME bargaining unit. Wages, benefits, and working conditions are set in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. The Beckett Center is a 14-bed, licensed crisis residential facility serving adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The program offers private rooms, including ADA-accessible bedrooms and baths, multiple community areas, a large kitchen, and secured outdoor space to enjoy.
